Shuttles break quickly the steam didn’t help one of the worst shuttles on the badminton market Chao Pai Victor Master Ace and Yonex are so much better
Hi Idris, we’ve noted that this is your second review on the same product, and it appears intended to further reduce the overall rating. While we’re always open to constructive feedback, we also want to maintain fairness for others who rely on reviews when deciding what to purchase.
We reached out to you privately via email to better understand your concerns and offer a resolution, but unfortunately, the response we received was hostile and left little room for discussion. Our Gold shuttlecocks are designed to offer reliable flight and durability for competitive social and club-level play, and many of our customers have found them to be a great balance of quality and value.
We respect that they didn’t meet your personal expectations, but we stand by our products and our commitment to supporting customers in a respectful, solution-focused way.
I've had the opportunity to play with Volant's Gold badminton shuttlecocks, and I can confidently say they offer exceptional quality and performance. The flight is consistent, crisp, and accurate, ideal for competitive and high-intensity play. What impressed me most is their durability; even after multiple games, the shuttle maintains its shape and responsiveness far better than many other brands I've used.
Volant has clearly designed these with players in mind, striking a great balance between speed, control, and longevity. Whether you're training seriously or playing socially at a high level, these shuttles provide a reliable and satisfying experience. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for premium shuttlecocks that won’t disappoint on the court.
One of the worst shuttles on the market Chao Pai and Victor Master Ace are better. I will never order again. These are not tournament shuttles these are not even league or club session standards shame on volant badminton what a joke

Good points:
Prompt delivery.
Good quality.
Easy online ordering.
Room for improvement:
The ordering system applies discount only on exactly 10 tubes. Any amount over and above 10 does not attract discount. To get discount for the second 10 lot, you need to start another fresh order. Do not understand the business rationale of this. Is this a programming bug?
The gold shuttles from Volant certainly do the job. You can have intermediate to advanced games using these shuttles, and they should be able to last one game, especially if you steam them properly beforehand. But some things we noticed when playing with these shuttles compared to Aeroplane Black shuttles (which is our preferred shuttle): 1. we noticed that they start off fast, but slow down a lot quicker than aeroplanes, because of this, it's hard for us to know if we need 76 or 77 speed. Whereas aeroplane black usually we get 78 and the speed is mostly consistent until the very end when the shuttles dies, 2. They don't seem to ruffle as quickly or as much as aeroplane blacks, which is a good thing, 3. They don't have the same satisfying hitting feeling as aeroplane blacks. Best way to describe it is that it feels like less 'impact' and less 'feedback' from a hit. We figured that it must be something to do with the cork.
Overall it is a decent enough shuttle that does the job. There are better shuttles out there, and we do believe it is not as good as the aeroplane black shuttle that is most popular in Melbourne badminton. Price wise though, with any discounts we might get from Volant, it is an okay substitute so long as the gold shuttles work out to cheaper than aeroplane black. But this depends how much you can get aeroplane blacks for and what discount codes you might be able to use with Volant.
