Stencilling Your Badminton Racquet's Strings is EASY!

Tips to stencil your badminton racquet strings

The 4 things that you’ll need to stencil your racket are…

  1. A badminton racquet WITH STRINGS!
  2. A stencil
  3. Stencil ink
  4. Something to cover the floor table so you don’t stain it
  5. And if you’re clumsy, maybe some gloves! 

Steps

Step 1: Place the racket on top of the paper or whatever you’re using to protect the floor or table you’re working on

Step 2: place the stencil the right side up as indicated by the word TOP. it should fit perfectly! You can tape it here if you like, or just hold it securely with your fingers

Step 3: Give the ink bottle a good shake

Step 4: Now to apply the ink onto the strings using a brushing motion

Step 5: Switch to the other side and repeat

Step 6: Allow to dry and VOILA! You now have a stencilled racket

For those of you who don’t want to do this yourself, know that the majority of stringing services will stencil the racket for you and you can ask them to do it the next time you need your strings strung - just pass them the stencil that you got with your racket!
