"A team isn't a bunch of kids out to win. A team is something you belong to, something you feel, something you have to earn" - Gordon Bombay, The Mighty Ducks

The above quote brings me back to my childhood. Watching the movie "The Mighty Ducks" and seeing the underdogs use strategy to their advantage to become victorious over a more skilled and arrogant team.

While many of us know how important it is to work in a team, and for everyone to have aligned vision and goals; to get to that point is not an easy task. It doesn't happen by chance or default. It happens by design.

In episode 6 of The Badminton Podcast, we talk to Andrew Surman, who is the managing Director of Hayes Girling Financial, a nationally awarded Accounting and Financial Planning firm located in Australia.

Andrew's specialty is in building high performing teams and developing people. And it's for this reason that we wanted him to share his wisdom with everyone.
